The core, essence, and focus of something can be considered the “Heart"
As a company that strives to see cities transformed, families strengthened, and the marketplace thriving, I want to share what is at the heart of Signet Ministries.
The love of God.
The central desire we have as humans is to be seen, heard, and loved for who we are, not just what we do or what we’ve accomplished. Although what we do and what we accomplish can play a role in how we live our lives, how we love our families, what legacy we leave, and what we are known for.
Our greatest and deepest desire remains, to know we are loved.
I have witnessed time and time again the love of God overwhelm and overcome what seemed like impossible circumstances. Business owners that felt like there was nothing left they could do, families that felt like change for the better would not take place, leaving a desire and courage to reach outside the norm for help.
You see, we believe that the Holy Spirit is very much concerned about every aspect of your life and business. Where He is invited sincerely, we believe He shows up. This makes room for the wisdom of Heaven and the miraculous to invade homes and the marketplace. He doesn't just come to make hard situations better, He comes so hearts would know they are seen, known and loved.
I've watched as the revelation of His love overshadowed problems, bringing peace even before change took place. That at times is a miracle in itself!
Do you know that no matter what you’ve accomplished or not yet achieved, and no matter how fat or slim your bank account, you are loved?
Whether you are just starting out or have been pounding the pavement for years in your craft, you are loved.
No matter your relationship status, years of school, age, gender, demographic, or location, you are loved.
You see there is a love that can’t be earned, can’t be bought, and can’t be compared to anything this world has to offer.
Love that sees you and chooses you, no matter the state of your life, health, circumstance, or situation.
No matter the vocation or position you hold, no matter the season of life you are in, no matter your past or present, and not based on your performance or status, you are loved.
Over and over again you are loved!
Lamentations 3:22-23 says:
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
That is a fact that doesn’t change and isn’t based on your actions but on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.The ultimate and final act of love that is without rival.
That means that there is grace for the journey and mercy new everyday for the process.
Knowing this takes the pressure off and frees you up to live out your purpose with confidence and passion. No longer living from a place of fear or feeling like you need to earn recognition, but from a place of already being accepted fully.
”Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.“
Hebrews 4:14-16 MSG
There is a God who sees us, knows us, and created us to have relationship with Him.
That fact that isn’t based on our goodness but on His goodness and love.
A God that is actively pursuing our hearts even now as this blog is being read, even now working in our families, even now desiring to be involved in our business. To reveal to us who He is, who we are, and who we were created to be.
